"Special" thoughts about Edward:
What the hell can you say about Ed? He's a mental case pure and simple, but he puts on one
Helluva Show with whoever and whatever he has on hand.
He's spewed Heineken, great music, and Texas cheer across quite a few states
and Canada as well.
A natural born cattle raiser, proud Texan and rabble rouser, the "music biz" seemed the only
cliff left to leap from, so in the early 70's, he did so . . . He fell up and continues to do so.
Ed (a.k.a. Willie Merrill) has worn many "musical hats" over the years. A self-described
"SINGER/COWPOKE/GUITAR AND BASS PLAYING/SOUNDMAN/PRODUCER/PRODUCTION kinda guy", he
definitely knows his way around gigs of ANY magnitude.
As a "SOLO GUY", he's played everything from a two-table wine bar, to an estimated crowd of
2000 under a tent in an electrical storm, and manages to satisfy a variety of venues, with music
that DEFINES ECLECTIC.
As a SOUND MAN AND PRODUCTION GUY, he's worked with some low-rent acts like "the ROLLING STONES", "the EAGLES", "PINK FLOYD" and "U-2" as a freelancer, and naturally a few more
smaller outfits in the lower 48 and Canada.
Besides doing his "SOLO ACT FROM HELL", he also works as a duo,
("Willie and Walker")
trio, and full band aptly named "THE CRYBABIES".
He works with so many different musicians from time to time, he just calls them

Well; I guess by now you've noticed I'm doing a LOT more TV stuff and a lot less music...so I thought I'd put in a little word here concerning this strange occurence.
It seems I wandered into a colesium with Garrisan a few years ago and followed him around wiring up a ball game (Dallas Cowboys I believe).
One thing led to another & now I've done everything from Televised Dog Shows for Animal Planet, to Net Talk Live and covering the Millenium in Houston for NBC.
I don't know whether to kiss him or shoot him, but "THANKS A LOT for dragging me into TV hell" goes out to:

It seems I wandered into a colesium with Garrisan a few years ago and followed him around wiring up a ball game (Dallas Cowboys I believe).
One thing led to another & now I've done everything from Televised Dog Shows for Animal Planet, to Net Talk Live and covering the Millenium in Houston for NBC.
I don't know whether to kiss him or shoot him, but "THANKS A LOT for dragging me into TV hell" goes out to:

Well; I guess by now you've noticed I'm doing a LOT more TV stuff and a lot less music...so I thought I'd put in a little word here concerning this strange occurence.
It seems I wandered into a colesium with Garrisan a few years ago and followed him around wiring up a ball game (Dallas Cowboys I believe).
One thing led to another & now I've done everything from Televised Dog Shows for Animal Planet, to Net Talk Live and covering the Millenium in Houston for NBC.
I don't know whether to kiss him or shoot him, but "THANKS A LOT for dragging me into TV hell" goes out to:
