Harestock 2014 Is Here

The seventh annual Harestock Music Festival will take place August 15-17 at The Beer Joint (12550 Hwy 30 E.) in College Station, TX.
Harestock is a non-profit festival started in 2008 by local B/CS band, Ben Morris and the Great American Boxcar Chorus. Every year, new charitable organizations are chosen to receive proceeds from Harestock. 100% of funds raised at Harestock are given away to that years charities. Over the years, Harestock has helped 12 different charities and raised over $30,000.
This year proceeds from Harestock will be given to:
- Still Creek Ranch
- A Major Funding
- Every Victim, Every Time
- Toys for Tots – Brazos Co.
- The Great American Boxcar Charity
The spotlight attraction of Harestock is the music. Harestock will feature 3 stages with 52 different full bands and acoustic artists.
The Modern Woodman and Brewski’s Pub acoustic stages will feature such acts as Gabe Wootton, Magic Girl, Hunter McKithan, Jordan York, Britt Lloyd, Nick Verzosa, Greg Schroeder, Rodney Parker, Mike Ethan Messick, Little Brave, Chris King, Shake Russell, Johnny Falstaff, Matt Powell, and Waylon Payne.
The Chicken Express Main Stage will feature full bands such as Ben Morris and the GABC, Stefan and the Rastabillys, Deer Vibes, Joe Teichman, Emily Herring, Pardo/Reed, The Kinfolk, Blue Bear, Push Water, and John Evans Band.

Music kicks off Friday night at 8 pm and goes until 2 am. Saturday and Sunday, gates open at 11 am. Music starts at 12 noon and lasts until 2 am both days. 3 day passes, as well as individual day tickets, are available at a reduced advance price at http://harestock.ticketleap.com/harestock-2014. You can also buy camping sites and official shirts at that link.
Camping will be available for the duration of Harestock. Primitive tent camping sites are available for $5 per day. Electricity will be available (extension cords encouraged.). No running water available at sites, but available within short walking distance.
JJ’s Snocones will have their mobile unit onsite on Saturday and Sunday making delicious JJ’s snocones. Southern Star Brewing Company will have a booth set up with taste tests and free giveaways. Boardwalk Salon will be set up doing fun hair stylings and face painting. There will be a giant silent auction on Sunday that will close at 9 pm. A photo booth will be set up for group photos. Food vendors will also be onsite. There will be a merch tent available to buy merchandise from all performing Harestock artists, as well as official Harestock merchandise.
